Letter from the Editor

Well another year is coming to a close and IMHO this has been one of the best that HDNUG has had in its 4 year history.

The inevitable question is what do we do for an encore. Quite a bit in fact. The steering committee is still discussing a lot of things that I can not go into as I hope to get one of them to write it all up so that it can be published here. We are planning more great speakers, giveaways, and pizza but that is just the start.

What I can say is that we need you the membership of the user group to become more involved. I know everyone is busy but being involved doesn't mean you have to spend hours every week like some of us do but a few minutes here and there would make a lot of difference. A lot of you spend time coming to meetings so send me a letter about how you liked or didn't like the meetings, or anything else for that matter. I would love to be able to post lots of letters from members every month and I am sure that a lot of you have some really great ideas about what you would like to see the user group doing. I want you to share those ideas with us.

There are a lot of good things we on the board are planning for the next year so I urge you all to get involved. We can do great things in this group but we need your help to do it right.
